Alive

Weight: 266.8

Yes folks, I'm alive. I'm still working hard and losing slowly. I have decided to give up blogging for awhile. I have a newborn to take care of now, and I'm having to work my butt off at my job right now. There's just not enough hours in the day. I'm still doing my best and I haven't given up the fight. I'm getting to the gym when I can but it's not been consistent. At least I have been eating good and I've lost weight. I've been stressing over this blog lately because I don't have time to post, but I feel like I should be posting. I don't need this added stress. I hope to be back blogging in a few months. In the meantime, I know what works and I believe that I can get to my goals in 2009. Good luck guys and girls. See you in a few.

you got to do what works best for you... but don't use the i am too busy excuse on yourself and getting healthy. No one is too busy to make time to take care of themselves. There shouldn't be anything stressful about blogging, its your blog make it what you want. The whole idea of you getting healthy is to be around for your wife and that new baby of yours so keep your sights set on the bigger picture. I know how daunting a new baby can be (I have too young children) so I feel your pain. Anyway hope you don't think I am a ass but you need to take care of yourself so you can take care of that family of yours. Don't stay away too long. Enjoy that baby, they grow up really fast. Take care man

Going to the gym once in a while is much better than not going there at all. The little angel will help you gain weight because you will not sleep enough. That's still fine and you will enjoy this change.

Yes just take it a little bit at a time and make time for yourself. There is no one more important.

Slower is better. For instance, for those dieters out there who have been or are currently using Hydroxycut supplements to diet or get in shape, you should know it's been recalled and is apparently very dangerous. This site has a lot of good information on its problems: http://www.hydroxycut-liver-damage-lawyer.com/

Exercising is just really the best practical way to achieve the weight loss you've been wanting to. With a big help of those people around you, that loves you.
Here's a rewarding link that I can freely give you to add in your weight loss remedy...

I hope this helps. There are plenty of available alternatives for weight loss, among of which are dieting, exercise, medication, and weight loss surgeries. Australian Professor Paul O’ Brien, Director of Center of Obesity Research and Education in Monash University suggested these qualities when choosing weight loss alternatives— effectiveness, less invasiveness, durability, minimal side effects, reversibility, low re-operation rate and safety. The simplest and first 2 treatments to consider for weight loss and that which practically go together are dieting and physical exercise. The third alternative is medication. Only two anti-obesity medications are currently approved by the FDA for long term use. One is orlistat (Xenical), which reduces intestinal fat absorption by inhibiting pancreatic lipase; the other is sibutramine (Meridia), which acts in the brain to inhibit deactivation of the neurotransmitters to decrease appetite. The most effective, but also most risky treatment for obesity is weight-loss surgery, the newest development of which is the laparoscopic gastric banding or lap band. Lap band is an inflatable silicone device that is placed around the top portion of the stomach resulting to one’s ability to control hunger and achieve a "feeling of fullness allowing for weight loss over time. With or without surgery, I say that successful and long-term weight loss is still a COMMITMENT to modifying lifestyle behaviors.
